Big skies, river dykes and a ride that feels far from the city

Terrain
Flat, hardpacked dyke trails
Flat, scenic dyke riding with river landscapes and wide-open skies.
A classic Tri-Cities escape along the Coquitlam River, the Poco Trail, the Trans Canada Trail and onto the Pitt River dykes toward Minnekhada Park. Big skies, birdlife and seasonal blueberry fields make this a ride that feels far from the city.
Minnekhada was once the hunting lodge of Eric Hamber, Lieutenant Governor of BC in the early 1900s, and is now a popular park.
Enjoy snow-dusted mountain views in winter and look for bears in the blueberry fields in summer.
