A scenic, car-free ride linking lakes, forests, and art along Whistler’s winding Valley Trail.
Distance
3km –40km

Terrain
Paved separated greenway, hardpacked trails
There’s over 40km of Valley Trail to explore in Whistler. The route is great for cyclists, walkers, and runners.
My favourite route, the Golden Dreams Loop takes you to Green Lake, and Alta Lake. For a Five-Lake tour, add on Lost, Nita and Alpha Lakes!
Watch for kayakers on the River of Golden Dreams, visit the Rainbow Park Lodge cabins, and enjoy public art along the trail — look for giant ravens near Whistler Golf Course, an old car and giant chairs in Alta Lake Park.
