Just north of Nelson BC, the town of New Denver sits on the shores of Slocan Lake. Heading out on the Slocan River and following the old rail line is the Galena Trail. This ride is a perfect introduction to single track riding — it is do-able for beginning riders, well maybe not totally beginners…but give it a try. The bonus is a cable car ferry across the river. A Very Fun Ride!
